This class is taught by:

Carla Wainwright

...started practicing yoga in 1996, the original motivation — to touch her toes! She had no idea the journey she was beginning to undertake would be so profound and transformational. Seventeen years later, she can touch her toes, and along the way she discovered that her talent and her passion has become helping others nourish their unique journey toward self discovery.

Carla is one of the founders and owners of Chinook Yoga and founded the studio along with Ken Gleeson in 2001. She teaches a wide range of classes - from Yin Yoga to Vinyasa to Pre-Natal. She is a senior faculty member of the SOYA Yoga Teacher Training Program. She has over 17 years of teaching experience and loves working with students to explore opening and connecting to the etheric body as a means to merge to the higher Self. Carla is a registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance (E-RYT500) and a member of the International Yoga Teacher's Association. She leads regular teacher trainings and retreats in both Prince George and Mexico. Her personal website can be found at

Jeff Lutes an enthusiastic teacher of Hatha yoga with a little vinyasa, power yoga, the yoke, and good times thrown in. He is also an owner of Chinook Yoga. Since his first experience of doing Yoga with a friend’s book on a cold winter’s night for five hours, his practice, with ebb and flow, has been a happy and fulfilling relationship in understanding himself and the world around him. He completed his 200hr SOYA teacher training in Mexico in February 2010 with Mugs McConnell and Carla Wainwright. Jeff is influenced by the teachings of Erich Schiffmann with whom he completed a ten day teacher training workshop in August 2010. His practice and classes are focused on exploring where one can go with body, mind and spirit.

Regan Beebe

Regan is a RYT 500 and has a BA in psychology. She began practicing yoga in 2010, and with a background in dance was initially connected to the physical aspect. After beginning studies in holistic nutrition, she developed an understanding of the body, mind, spirit connection and her passion for yoga grew stronger. Since completing yoga teacher training with SOYA in 2012, Regan has been teaching regularly throughout the community of Prince George and enjoying it immensely. She is very grateful for all of her teachers who continuously inspire her to deepen her yoga practice. The connection that yoga brings to oneself and to others motivates and encourages her daily.
