Jaylene Pfeifer

Jaylene brings her background as a Kinesiologist and a Yoga Teacher to the mat every time she teaches a class.  The experience of being a teacher and connecting with students is a big part of her own practice in remaining grounded in living her life.    She is grateful for all the teachers that she has had the opportunity to train with and draws on these experiences to form every yoga class she offers at Chinook Yoga. Jaylene offers opportunities for every level of student to explore their practice with curiosity, ease and presence and most of all a smile : ) - happy exploring!!

  • A yoga class that will help bring balance to your mind and body. A hatha style class that emphasizes physical detail and focus, while incorporating asana (postures), pranayama (breath work) and relaxation.  This class is suitable for all levels.

  • Therapeutic Yoga empowers individuals to progress toward improved health and well-being through the application, the philosophy and practice of yoga. Therapeutic Yoga classes develop a program of using age old yoga techniques such as breath work and present moment awareness combined with body awareness exercises. This class is suitable for people who have pain, injury or illness that is limiting the things they love to do; are open-minded and ready to embrace new ideas about how the body and mind interact; are dedicated and willing to invest in themselves; and, want to function better and find more balance in life.   • A 4 week Introductory Series of 1 hour classes perfect for the beginner yoga student. Exploring breath, asana (postures), and the benefits of yoga.
