Denise Marshall

Denise calls Prince George home since 2003. Since taking her training and becoming an RYT 200 in the fall/winter of 2013, she has been instructing basic classes as well as offering children's programs. She completed her training with SOYA RYT 500 hr upgrade in fall of 2017. Last spring/summer she completed Rainbow Kids Yoga as well Semperviva Baby and Me Yoga training. In 2016 she completed Yin Yoga training w Bernie Clark.    Denise values her teachings and trainings from Chinook/SOYA Yoga, she loves that she can incorporates her ECE background and trainings. She is so pleased to being able to serve the community through the studio as the manager.

  • Yin Warm
  • The Yin aspect of Yoga uses long held relaxed floor postures to stretch and stimulate the "Yin" or deep connective tissues of the body. This gentle practice will increase your flexibility, opening your hips, lower back and shoulders and will enhance your overall sense of well-being.
    WARM classes are about 30C, variable humidity.

  • Yin Yoga

  • Yoga 101 Beginner Series
  • A 4 week Introductory Series of 1 hour classes perfect for the beginner yoga student. Exploring breath, asana (postures), and the benefits of yoga.

    Payment for the series is required upon registration to secure your spot. $25.00 + tax for the 4 week series.


  • Yin Fusion
  • In all Yang – there is still Yin. In all Yin, there is still Yang. In Yin Fusion we will balance the practice with some gentle flowing vinyasa, creating internal heat to prepare for movement into longer held Yin Yoga poses. Through awareness in all aspects of the practice we will find the edges of our limitations and subtly work beyond those boundaries with relaxed effort. This is an open class for all yogis.
     
     

  • Baby and Me Yoga
  • Denise completed Baby and Me Yoga training via Semperviva Yoga College in Vancouver. She blends a mixture of easy movement, music, dance, and yoga into the classes.

    Babies should be at least 8 weeks old before joining a Baby and Me Yoga class, class is suitable for babies up to crawling stage.
