What is core stability and how do you know if you have it?

In this video I invite you to explore core stability in your body. Here are a couple of considerations to keep in mind as we go through this practice:
—core stability helps us to go from slow to fast, and fast to slow. It’s your body’s ability to adapt to sudden changes.
—it is strength and ease in movement.
—it lets you know where you are in space.
—it is control and coordination in a range of motion. If you do not have it in a small range, you will not have it in a larger range.
—when you breathe better, your core engages more.
—when you compensate less, your core engages more.
So this practice is an invitation to explore your core stability starting with an order of importance — the smallest range.
