Not only have I experienced an improved fitness level which has allowed me go into other sports without feeling ‘unfit’,internally, I feel calmer and more able to focus clearly and unexpectedly, I have lost weight. The staff at Chinook have diverse backgrounds but are all well trained to guide you and are focused on helping everyone to enjoy a safe and healthy yoga experience. Carla, I started my yoga journey at Chinook Studio.My wife brought me for a class on my birthday, 6 years ago. I found something special in yoga, and have continued to learn and practice pretty regularly since. I have visited different yoga studios while traveling and share info about Chinook when I do. I’d like to thank you for helping to build a lovely yoga community in Prince George. I wanted to share that I was able to complete an 800 km self-supported bicycle tour this summer, from Pr George to Pr Rupert. I feel that my yoga practice helped me with a level of fitness to complete this goal of mine. I often tell my friends if I ever train for the Olympics or Senior Games, I’ll be checking in with you!
