A very accessible 30 minute therapeutic yoga practice, combining the practice of nourishing relaxation / stillness / support, to reset your nervous system, connecting to the energy of the breath and nourishing a practice of listening to your body and moving in a pain free range of motion .You will want to gather a strap (or a scarf or housecoat tie), 2 blocks (or a stack of books and / or a cushion), a chair or access to a couch, possibly a blanket or folded towel. This practice invites you to explore the following movements: half inversion; ankle to knee twist; supported supine side bend (bananasana); kneeling with pelvic movements and shoulder mobility; tadasana (mountain pose); one legged standing / balance posture; hip and shoulder mobility; supported thread the needle; savasana.
